Dexter Studios Partners with IT Hardware Specialist ‘Emtekinc’ for IT Infrastructure Strategy: “Targeting High-Performance Enterprise and AI Infrastructure Markets”

Dexter Studios is officially entering the high-performance enterprise and AI infrastructure market based on its self-developed high-performance storage solution ‘CubeCore’.

Comprehensive content company Dexter Studios (206560, hereinafter “Dexter”) announced that it signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IT hardware specialist Emtekinc Co., Ltd. (Emtekinc) to target the enterprise and AI infrastructure markets.

The core of this partnership is to combine Dexter’s self-developed storage ‘CubeCore’ with Emtekinc’s high-performance server ‘REDBIT’ into integrated package solutions. Leveraging both companies’ custom design capabilities across OS and hardware, the alliance aims to address diverse computing infrastructure demands across corporate, research, and public sectors.

Dexter recently launched its high-performance storage brand ‘CubeCore’, which has proven its precision and stability in high-intensity computing environments for VFX (Visual Effects) projects—such as blockbuster films with real-time high-volume CG data transfers and ultra-high-resolution media art. Dexter previously unveiled its self-developed storage lineup tailored to specific needs, including the NVMe All-Flash Storage ‘X Series’ for ultra-low latency tasks like real-time high-intensity AI operations and machine learning, the high-performance server virtualization solution ‘E Series’, and the ‘D Series’ optimized for large-capacity backup and archiving.

Emtekinc, which owns the proprietary server brand ‘REDBIT’, is a leading IT hardware enterprise in South Korea offering top-tier high-performance graphics solutions based on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, including ‘Emtek’, ‘SAPPHIRE’, and ‘PALIT’. Capitalizing on over 20 years of technical expertise in system design and hardware optimization, Emtekinc has supplied GPGPU-based rendering servers, AI deep learning machines, and high-performance workstations to numerous enterprises and institutions.

Emtekinc and Dexter established a strategic collaborative relationship in 2022, engaging in joint R&D for Emtekinc’s ‘REDBIT’ server brand and Dexter’s ‘CubeCore’ storage brand. The two companies have continually expanded their partnership, notably co-executing an IT consulting and infrastructure buildout project for Kantana Group, a major media conglomerate in Thailand, in 2023.

Building on this solid partnership, both companies plan to rapidly secure infrastructure deployment references across various scales and configurations.

Meanwhile, Dexter Studios continues to secure large-scale VFX production projects based on its solid technological competitiveness, recently announcing a new VFX contract worth 8.5 billion KRW and a 1.0 billion KRW contract increase (bringing total supply to 6.8 billion KRW). In addition to its firm core business sector, Dexter plans to achieve revenue diversification through its IT infrastructure business.
