Son Dong-jin, CEO of Dexter Krema, an AI digital marketing subsidiary of Dexter Studios (206560), was honored with the Iron Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit during the ceremony commemorating the 25th Gender Employment Equality Emphasis Period.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Week, held annually from May 25 to 31, is designated and overseen by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It aims to expand employment opportunities for women and promote a corporate culture that supports a healthy balance between work and family life. This year’s ceremony was held under the theme, “Work and family in harmony, employment equality as a given.” CEO Son was recognized for his outstanding contributions in maternal protection, support for work-family balance, equal employment opportunities, and skills development.
Dexter Krema has implemented practical work systems considering the high labor volatility characteristic of the advertising industry. These include a flexible commuting system, work-from-home options, and support for shared office spaces to facilitate remote work. In addition, the company actively operates family-friendly policies such as encouraging the use of parental leave and child care support leave to create a work environment that helps balance work, life, and family.
Moreover, Dexter Krema has established a gender-neutral recruitment system and job-focused personnel management. This system excludes any discriminatory factors throughout hiring, placement, and promotion processes. Through fair performance evaluations and rewards, the company supports sustainable career development for female talent and the expansion of women in managerial positions. As a result, the proportion of female managers within the company is gradually increasing.
To foster a workplace culture centered on awareness, improvement, and prevention, Dexter Krema also conducts specialized training on sexual harassment prevention. These sessions are led by experts rather than being simple mandatory courses.
Son Dong-jin, CEO of Dexter Krema, stated, “Employment equality goes beyond simply operating policies. It is a key foundation for the sustainable growth of an organization. We will continue to build a corporate culture where everyone can work and grow fairly.”
Previously, Dexter Krema was recognized by government ministries such as the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The company was selected as an “Excellent Work-Life Balance Company,” a “Family-Friendly Company,” and an “Exemplary Fair Recruitment Company.” Furthermore, Dexter Krema has won awards including the “2025 Korea Product Awards” (Grand Prize), the “2025 AI Excellence Summit Awards,” and the “2024 Korea Digital Advertising Awards.” These honors reflect broad recognition from government agencies for the company’s outstanding organizational culture and business competitiveness.
Recently, Dexter Krema was also selected as a supported company in the “2025 Promising Export Small and Medium Digital Content Exporter Development” project. Backed by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), Dexter Krema is identifying demand markets in key regions such as North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Through local business meetings, including tech and business meetups, the company plans to pioneer export routes for its unique AI marketing solutions.
