Dexter Krema (Co-CEOs: Dong Jin Son, Song Gyeong Un), an AI digital marketing subsidiary of Dexter Studios (206560), announced that it received the Minister of Science and ICT Award in the “AI Technology Convergence & Industrial Innovation” category at the “2025 AI Excellence Summit Awards,” held during the “8th International Artificial Intelligence Expo (AI EXPO KOREA 2025).”
The “International Artificial Intelligence Expo,” the largest AI exhibition in Asia, is a platform that highlights the present and future of artificial intelligence, sharing the latest information and insights on trending AI technologies and real-world business applications. Last year’s 7th edition of the event, organized by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association (KAIA), Seoul Messe International Co., Ltd., and AI Times, saw participation from over 250 companies and organizations from 11 countries. This year, the expo set a new record as the largest ever, featuring more than 320 companies and organizations from 18 countries and over 550 exhibition booths.
At the awards ceremony hosted by KAIA, Dexter Krema was honored with the Minister’s Award in recognition of its innovative services that combine AI technology with advertising and are applied in real-world business settings, as well as the excellence of its business model and commercialization strategy. Dexter Krema has independently developed and operates “Adplorer,” an AI-powered hyper-personalized marketing one-stop solution, and “Linkplorer,” an AI influencer marketing solution.
In particular, Adplorer is incorporating “KONI,” a Korean small language model (sLLM) independently developed by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI), to create Korea’s first large language model optimized for the advertising domain. This research project was selected for the R&D program under the SME Technology Innovation Development Project, supervised by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
At “AI Summit Seoul 2024,” Dexter Krema presented its achievements and applications in AI R&D for video production, and the company’s AI capabilities continue to be recognized externally, including winning the Excellence Award in the AI Creative category at the “2024 Korea Digital Advertising Awards.”
