Dexter Krema (co-CEOs: Dong Jin Son, Song Gyeong Woon), an AI digital marketing subsidiary of Dexter Studios (206560), announced on September 3 that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with iDesignLab, the operator of the global Korean language learning app “FunPik.”
The partnership is aimed at establishing a digital hub to support Korean companies seeking to expand overseas. By integrating a global user base with advanced content creation and digital marketing infrastructure, the two companies plan to build a platform that enhances the marketing efficiency and competitiveness of Korean businesses in international markets.
Under the agreement, Dexter Krema will leverage its proprietary AI-powered marketing optimization service Linkplorer to combine its digital marketing expertise with iDesignLab’s international user network and traffic generated through FunPik. This collaboration is expected to create strong synergies and deliver tangible results for both parties. The two companies will work together in phases on a range of initiatives, including building an integrated support platform for Korean companies entering overseas markets, fostering foreign influencers, supporting global-targeted advertising and promotional campaigns, conducting service validation and trial programs for international users, and producing and distributing localized content.
Dexter Krema’s Linkplorer platform offers solutions such as customized persona matching through brand data analysis, automated bidding, integrated management of influencer digital assets, and a performance-based compensation system. In addition to delivering predictable marketing outcomes, it connects brands, influencers, and agencies within a single ecosystem, representing a successful case of introducing an algorithm-driven automated marketing system to the influencer marketing sector.
iDesignLab’s FunPik is a specialized application for foreign learners of Korean, achieving more than 1.1 million downloads across over 200 countries worldwide. Powered by AI and big data, FunPik provides customized Korean language learning experiences tailored to each user’s proficiency level. The platform also operates the world’s largest collection of TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) learning content, catering to the growing global interest in Korean language and culture driven by the rise of K-culture.
Dexter Krema CEO Dong Jin Son stated, “By combining content, technology, and our global network, we aim to establish a model that delivers differentiated, integrated solutions for Korean companies pursuing global expansion. We expect this partnership to become a collaborative model that advances digital export support and enhances global marketing capabilities for businesses.”
iDesignLab CEO Tae Young Kim added, “This agreement is especially meaningful as it establishes a digital hub that enables Korean companies to enter global markets more quickly and effectively. Using FunPik, we will continue to expand our global network and create opportunities for collaboration that connect Korean enterprises with international consumers, contributing to broader cultural and economic exchange.”
