Dexter Krema recently shared its insights into the active discussions on AI applications and the direction forward for the video production sector.
Dexter Krema, an AI digital marketing subsidiary of Dexter Studios [206560], announced that it participated as an invited speaker at the global AI conference “AI Summit Seoul 2024” held on December 10.
“AI Summit Seoul,” the largest global AI conference in Korea, is an event designed to share the latest technology trends and AI application cases across various industries. This year’s event, now in its 7th year, featured experts from global big tech companies such as Meta, Canva, LG Electronics, and NCSoft, who participated as panelists to discuss the integration of AI and industry in depth.
On the first day of the event, Dexter Krema presented on the theme “AI, Breaking the Boundaries of Video Production: New Possibilities Opened by AI.” Lee Chang-beom, Director of AI R&D at Dexter Krema, analyzed the changes brought by AI in the video production process, including actual AI applications in the field, the development of in-painting models, and the need for customized AI models for professionals, and he also explored future response strategies.
Dexter Krema garnered attention by presenting the first domestic research results on 16-bit and 32-bit image processing using an in-painting model (AI that can recognize and erase specific objects within an image). Director Lee explained, “We’ve expanded on the existing 8-bit in-painting model to process high-resolution images of 16-bit and 32-bit or higher. The model can output in the desired color space without any pixel loss compared to the original, which is a key differentiator.”
He added, “For AI to further advance in the video production field, it’s crucial to develop specialized AI models for expert groups. Our company is working through specialized personnel to develop AI models for professionals and continuously secure and provide high-quality data.”
Dexter Krema’s one-stop personalized AI marketing solution, Adplorer, attracted the interest of industry professionals and visitors with its demonstration booth at the event. Adplorer, a generative AI-powered personalized advertising automation solution, provides customized functions for marketing strategies, including market analysis and strategy extraction based on large quantities of data, optimal targeting and ad media selection, and content creation.
Dexter Krema co-CEO Dong Jin Son stated, “It means a lot to showcase our research so far and new solutions at this event. We’ll continue to strive to present innovative alternatives that can flexibly respond to the rapidly changing media landscape through ongoing research and development.”
