Dexter 1st Immersive Media Art Exhibition ‘Flashback : Gyerim’ Opens Early Bird Tickets Next Month on the 1st… Official Opening on November 14th

Dexter Studios (206560, hereinafter Dexter) is launching early bird ticket sales for its first immersive media art exhibition hall, ‘Flashback : Gyerim’ (hereinafter ‘Gyerim’), set to open soon through its subsidiary FlashbackGround Co., Ltd.
Early bird tickets can be purchased via ‘Naver Reservation’ and the performance/exhibition booking platform ‘Ticketlink’ from Saturday, November 1st to Thursday, November 13th. Early bird ticket buyers receive a 30% discount on admission, and these tickets are valid until Wednesday, December 31st of this year.
‘Gyerim’ is an immersive exhibition that reinterprets the legends and cultural heritage of Gyeongju, the ancient capital, with a modern sensibility. It is a project that brings together Dexter’s technical capabilities in VFX (visual effects), sound design, spatial design, and content planning. A dedicated exhibition hall, the largest in Korea at 5,600 square meters, has been constructed within the Bomun Tourist Complex in Gyeongju. It boasts a massive 37-foot-tall immersive space, unprecedented in existing media art exhibitions.
Opening as a permanent exhibition hall on Friday, November 14th, ‘Gyerim’ is a storytelling immersive media art exhibition themed around a journey through time and space into the world of Silla mythology. It comprises 13 original content pieces utilizing cutting-edge interactive technology, including Dexter’s immersive content providing vivid realism and the mythical sacred tree ‘Shindansu’ realized as a large-scale installation art piece.

As global interest in Korea’s traditions and cultural heritage expands alongside the worldwide spread of ‘K-Culture’, anticipation for ‘Gyerim’ is growing, especially since this large-scale exhibition, based on the glorious history and legends of Silla, is being held in Gyeongju, Korea’s leading cultural tourism city. With Gyeongju gaining global attention as the host city for the ‘2025 APEC Summit,’ the number of visitors to the Bomun Tourist Complex, where ‘Gyerim’ is located, is also on the rise, leading to expectations of broad audience appeal.
Meanwhile, ‘Flashback: Gyerim’ has secured a total project financing of 13.3 billion won from IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, Gaia Venture Partners, NextG Investment, Prologue Ventures, and Union Investment Partners, demonstrating recognition for its technological capabilities, planning expertise, and business viability.
