Dexter Studios is looking to add to its sales tally for the second half of 2023 with a new contract to supply VFX technology.
Dexter Studios (206560), a company that specializes in VFX and content production, says it signed a new contract to supply VFX technology for the TV series “D” (tentative title) with Climax Studio on September 8. The contract, reportedly worth a total of KRW 3.67 billion (KRW 160 million for pre-production and KRW 3.51 billion for the main contract), will run through June 17, 2024.
Last November, Dexter Studios signed a contract worth KRW 6 billion for the TV series “A” (tentative title) with Climax Studio as well. The new contract comes just ten months into the previous deal. With this new contract, both companies will work together on a project, worth roughly KRW 10 billion, by 2024.
A company official said, “Since we have the opportunity to work with a production company that always comes up with fresh and high-quality content, we’ll also do our best to put videos out there on the market that fit our concept and improve the quality of the content we provide.” The official continued, “With K-content becoming more mainstream around the world, we’ve seen products based on a variety of subjects and themes. This is great news for the VFX industry as we can expect additional orders. Going forward, we want to continue showcasing Dexter Studios’ VFX technology with different content and productions.”
