Min Ji-oh, a virtual human developed by Nest ENT, a subsidiary of visual effects (VFX) and content company Dexter Studios, has been chosen as an exclusive model for a Korean shopping mall brand.
Nest ENT (CEO: Kim Wook) announced on October 13 that Min Ji-oh will work as a model for Enter6 (CEO: Lee Sang-wook). With her new contract, Min Jo-oh plans to play an active role in promoting Enter6 through various platforms such as Enter6’s official website, in-person stores, and social network platforms.
Min Ji-oh is a virtual human and aspiring actress with monolid eyes and soft features who dreams of becoming a star while she works part-time as a fit model for a number of apparel brands. She works hard and submits her demo reels in hopes of getting some much-needed acting experience. Min Ji-oh also studies fashion and home interior design, enjoys simple walks across the city, and likes posting about her day on various social network platforms. Recently, Min Ji-oh appeared in “Bad Girl Friend” produced by WhyNot Media, which is known for its web drama series, and showcased her acting chops for the first time alongside the show’s female lead Jisoo.
An official from Nest ENT said, “Past models hired by Enter6 were mostly household names and celebrities like K-pop idols and actors. So, we’re obviously delighted to see Ji-oh getting a chance to see her hard work pay off.” He added, “We want to use this as an opportunity to reach Enter6’s customers and the public with Ji-oh’s down-to-earth personality and charm. We will also work with Enter6 to carry out various activities that can generate synergy between the model and the company.”
Meanwhile, Enter6 announced, “In recognizing the priorities of our MZ generation customers who value diverse experiences and seek change, we chose Min Jo-oh, a virtual human who is free from some of the real-world limitations we face as people and has an image that feels somewhat familiar, as our model.” It explained, “Through our new model Min Jo-oh, who can engage herself in a wide range of activities without being tethered to conventional time and space constraints, we want to effectively promote the direction of our brand and communicate with customers in a refreshing and interesting way.”
As a venue for “shoppertainment,” Enter6 is bringing MZ generation consumers with immersive programs, shopping, culture, gourmet dining, and leisure activities under the same roof. It has a total of seven stores, including its Anyang Station Branch, Wangsimni Station Branch, Gangbyeon Techno Mart Branch, Sangbong Branch, Park Avenue Hanyang University Branch, Gangnam Branch, and Cheonho Station Branch.
